In many laboratories the data processing software of the analysis equipment is unable to quantify measurement results in the desired way. Another frequent bottleneck is the cumbersome transferral of analysis results from (various) instruments to the LIMS data system being used. A project proposal (content and price) was drawn up for a large, independent consultancy firm which operates worldwide, in relation to monitoring the quality of natural water samples from Mali. The proposal was accepted and the project executed by a qualified laboratory in the Netherlands. The client was satisfied with the results.
