Voor veel laboratoria geld dat de data processing software van de analyse apparatuur niet in staat is om de meetresultaten te kwantificeren op de gewenste wijze. Een ander veel voorkomend knelpunt is de moeizame verwerking van analyse resultaten van (diverse) instrumenten naar het gebruikte data LIMS systeem. In June 2009 KAIN coordinated the installation of GC-MS/MS equipment at the same laboratory in Turkey where UPLC-MS/MS equipment had previously been installed.
