Primary school excursion to laboratory

On 6 May 2014 a group of children from the primary school in Harfsen goes on excursion to KAIN's laboratory takes place. During the visit, the young students (age 6 to 7) are introduced to the basics of analytical chemistry. Off course, to keep the attention, the lecture is accompanied by some simple but dirty laboratory experiments. After 1.5 hours the pupils return, satisfied and slightly wiser, back to school.

The annex contains the given PowerPoint presentation "What does an analytical chemist do" (unfortunately in Dutch).
